Direct entry admission process
Direct entry applicants must meet all of the University of Vermont's entry requirements, including a minimum TOEFL or IELTS score, and complete the Common Application.
International students who have a high enough English level may seek direct admission to a bachelor's degree or choose to apply through the Global Gateway Program.
How to apply directly TO the University of Vermont
International student admission to a bachelor's degree at the University of Vermont will follow these steps:
Check that you have an official English test score of at least TOEFL iBT 90 or 6.5 IELTS, and meet all other entry requirements. Note: most successful applicants exceed the University of Vermont's minimum entrance requirements.

Complete the form, scan it as a jpeg of PDF, and send it to email@example.com
Our Admissions team will then send you a FAQ sheet with detailed instructions for completing the Common Application.

Your completed Common Application must be submitted by these dates:

Several programs have enrollment caps of maximum number of students per intake so be sure to apply as early as possible to secure your place at the University of Vermont. Application for direct admission will be accepted after the deadline on a case-by-case basis.
